Is it imaginable that an unobserved galaxy-sized black hole is existent anywhere in the distant world? The truth may prove to be somewhat even more strange. The Galaxy reported on the discovery 40 years ago of a massive black hole which is of 5000 times the size of the solar system. The black hole named microquasar SS 433 is located about 18,000 light-years away in the gathering of Aquila. The Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) team revealed humanity’s initial image of a massive black hole. The EHT director Mr. Shepard Doeleman says that black holes are where the quantum world and the gravitational world comes together.
The enormous size of the solar system has a mass of around six and a half billion suns. Also, it has a loop of gas in shades of yellow, orange, and red shining around it. This shadow cast by the incident is the same as projected by the theory of general relativity from Einstein. This event was as ambitious as that of Apollo 11 landing stage on the moon. The world is seeing the first picture of the black hole located in the heart of the galaxy M87. This image is epic because before that only theoretical study of the black hole is available. M87’s black hole was in frozen condition 55 million years ago. Over those years, we appeared on Earth along with our mythologies, separated cultures, beliefs, languages said by Janna Levin, an astrophysicist.
Astronomers have speculated that galaxy which harbors the black hole developed to its massive size by merger with numerous additional black holes within the galaxy M87. Also, the M87 is an enormous galaxy which is in the close to universe designed by the merging of a hundred or so smaller galaxies. However, the large size and relative proximity of M87 has managed astronomers to consider that it is the very first black hole which can be seen.
